Isle of Man’s most popular baby names in 2024 revealed.

The Central Registry has revealed the most popular forenames given to baby girls and boys in the Isle of Man for 2024 were Lili/Lilee/Lillie/Lillee and Oliver respectively.

Whilst Oliver proved to be the most popular name chosen for boys in 2024, other popular names included Archie, Noah and Theo/Theodore.

In terms of baby girls, the name ‘Lili’, with a number of spelling variations including Lilee, Lillie and Lillee, was the most popular name in 2024, with Arabella/Arabelle, Delilah, Florence and Harper the next most popular.

574 babies were born in the Isle of Man during 2024, a decrease of 35 from 2023.

All babies must be registered within 42 days of birth. Registrations may be made at the Central Registry Office in Douglas, or commissioners offices in Ramsey, Peel, and Castletown.
