Isle of Man Ship Registry announces new Deputy Director

The Department for Enterprise has announced the appointment of Toby Brooks as the new Deputy Director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry.
Toby has a strong classification and statutory background, joining the Isle of Man Ship Registry after 24 years employment within classification society Bureau Veritas. Toby has spent a number of years as a senior surveyor, before advancing into technical operations management, business development and project management roles at a global network level.
Cameron Mitchell, Director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry, commented:
‘I am delighted with the appointment of Toby; he will bring vast technical and commercial experience to the team and has all the attributes and expertise needed to take the Ship Registry forward.
